As it is the first Honey Show of the season, exhibitors are keen to see how their new entries compare with their fellow beekeepers after the break caused by the pandemic. It’s particularly good to welcome our overseas visitors once more.

Previous Years
The FIBKA Annual Summer School has been meeting the educational needs of both seasoned and beginner beekeepers since 1946.
Participants come not only from within the FIBKA membership and Irish beekeeping community in general but from the UK, Europe and farther afield. It has always been a wonderful opportunity for beekeepers to network, socialize and share experiences with each other.
Many beekeepers attend the school on multiple occasions, such is the wealth of knowledge to be gained from the excellent presentations from researchers and academics at the forefront of the apicultural world. The apiculture subjects vary from the scientific to the practical, with hands-on workshops for all levels.
