During the month of February FIBKA has held very successful Regional Meetings in Munster (Mitchelstown, Cork), Leinster (Newbridge, Kildare) and Connaught/Ulster (Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim).
The purpose of these meetings is to ensure that all our members have access to lectures across a range of beekeeping topics. We are very lucky to have at our disposal such excellent lecturers who support FIBKA and its activities.
We would like to extend our thanks to Michael Maunsell, Tom Prendergast, John Donoghue and Arjan von Rossum who lectured at the above locations. Importantly thank you to each member who attended and supported these meetings along with contributing to the raffle at each venue, the proceeds of which will go to supporting our Youth Development Programme.
It is FIBKAs intention to develop this schedule of Regional Meetings into the future, holding them at various locations across each Provence.
