Are you 12 to 18 years old and passionate about beekeeping?
Here’s your chance to represent your country on an international stage.
The International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) is an exciting annual event where teams of three young beekeepers, selected by their national beekeeping associations, come together to compete, learn, and share their knowledge.
IMYB 2026 – Coming to Belfast
In 2026, the Ulster Beekeepers Association (UBKA) will proudly host IMYB in Belfast, welcoming young beekeepers from around the world.
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have a strong knowledge of beekeeping and practical skills
- Can confidently collaborate in mixed international teams
- Are eager to take on challenges and represent their country
Selection and Training
If we receive a high number of applications, we will hold a selection day to choose our final team. We are also looking for mentors and tutors to help train and support our young beekeepers.
If you’re committed and ready to be part of the team, whether as a participant, mentor, or tutor, we’d love to hear from you.
